BACOLOD City – The severed feet of an unidentified person were found in front of an establishment along C.L. Montelibano, Barangay Villamonte here yesterday.
Police Captain Greeky Cayao, head of Police Station 4, said that an employee found the severed feet placed in a plastic bag.
Cayao said the shoe size of the feet is about 8 or 9.
Police are looking into the incident as an alleged harassment or threat against an establishment. He did not elaborate while the investigation is ongoing.
A note was also left with the severed feet, but Cayao refused to give specific details about it, as it may contain sensitive information.
Cayao said that it could be that the feet might be from a dead person, or could be from a person who is still alive.
Two months ago, two severed hands of an unidentified person along with a list of alleged drug personalities were also dumped in a garbage area in Barangay 2 here.
But until now, the owner of the severed hands has yet to be identified.
Cayao said the incident in this area cannot be linked with the severed hands in the area of Police Station 2 in January.
He also dismissed the possibility that it could be drug-related.
