BACOLOD City – Seven persons were arrested while P68,084 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from July 22 to 24.
Of the total figure, P26,400 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated here, while P41,684 worth of the said contraband was recovered in the province.
In the province, four persons were apprehended in the cities of Cadiz and Talisay, and the towns of Manapla and Valladolid.
For Bacolod, three individuals were arrested by Police Stations 1, 7, and 8.
The drug bust operations were conducted in Barangays 14, Alijis, and Banago, respectively.
The biggest drug haul was reported in Talisay City for the province with P20,400 worth of drug recovery, and Barangay Banago for Bacolod with the confiscation of P19,000 worth of suspected shabu.
