BACOLOD City – Seven persons were arrested while P264,560 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from September 24 to 26.
In San Carlos City, Wilbert Dupio, 28, of Barangay 6 was arrested last Friday. He is said to be a high value individual, according to the police.
Police recovered from Dupio 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000, and the P12,000 boodle money.
Around P46,560 worth of the said contraband was also confiscated from five other persons, including a 17-year-old boy in the province.
The drug bust operations were conducted in the cities of Talisay, Bago, Kabankalan, and Himamaylan.
Also seized by Police Station 4 from a man in Barangay 2 here last Friday was about P48,000 worth of suspected shabu.
