BACOLOD City – Seven persons were arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and San Carlos City Police Station raided an alleged drug den allegedly maintained by Ruel Emnace, 31, of Barangay 3.
Also arrested were six others, including a carpenter, construction worker, and pedicab drivers, who were reportedly caught inside the alleged drug den.
Authorities recovered during the operation 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams worth P81,600, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money.
Drug charges are being readied against the suspects, according to PDEA.
