ROXAS CITY, Capiz– Seven individuals were arrested by the police in separate operations Monday evening for violating the curfew relative to the enhanced community quarantine against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
First to be arrested in President Roxas town were Albert Abian, 36; Elmer Navarro, 28; and Elwin Navarro, 29, all residents of Barangay Poblacion President Roxas, Capiz.
The suspects will be charged for disobedience and resistance to authorities after creating trouble in their village.
Meanwhile, four more persons were arrested and presently in the custody of the Roxas City Police Station for violating the curfew here.
Police identified the violators as Mandy Borres of Barangay Libas; Roger Diestro 18, and Bimbo Bobong, 21, both residents of Barangay 8, and Jerson Bunda, 22, of Barangay Punta Tabuc here.
