Septuagenarian found dead

BACOLOD City – Police are still blank on the motive for the death of a 74-year-old woman at Purok Manzano, Barangay Poblacion West, Candoni, Negros Occidental last Saturday.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim sustained gunshot wounds in the back of her body.

The victim was found lifeless in a vacant lot near a sugarcane plantation, according to the police.

Her husband learned about the incident from his nephew.

The police are urging witnesses to surface and help them in the investigation to give justice to the victim.
