Senior Citizen Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A senior citizen died after being hit by a speeding motorcycle on Tuesday afternoon, June 10, in Barangay Nasunogan, Dao, Capiz.

Police identified the victim as “Dionisia,” 67, a resident of the area.

The motorcycle driver was identified as “Noknok,” 18, of Barangay Balucuan, Dao.

An investigation by the Dao Municipal Police Station showed that the victim was about to cross the road from a junk shop when she was suddenly struck by the motorcycle.

Due to the impact, the victim’s head hit the concrete pavement.

She also sustained fatal injuries to various parts of her body.

The driver fled the scene on his motorcycle, leaving the victim behind.

He later surrendered to police about an hour after the incident.
