a construction company driver did not wait long in receiving his Php30,000 money claims following a fast and the successful settlement of his Request for Assistance (RFA) for conciliation/mediation through Single Entry Approach (SEnA).
Mang Juaning filed his request before the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office 6-Iloilo Field Office on January 11, 2023 for monetary claims for unpaid Overtime Pay, Holiday Pay and 13th Month Pay.
His request was successfully acted upon in just 13 days.
SEnA Desk Officer (SEADO) William Dungog found out that Mang Juaning was not paid his 13th Month Pay since the start of his employment in July 2019.
Mr. Dungog explained to the employer the benefits of the worker and on the same day, the RFA was settled amicably.
“We are happy that the worker received the rightful benefits due to him,” said Regional Director Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez Jr., who ordered to settle labor issues the earliest time possible.
“Our aim is to help the living conditions of our workers and by attending to their needs immediately matters a lot to them.”
The SEnA Program provides an impartial, speedy, inexpensive and accessible settlement procedure that helps both employers and employees settle disputes amicable.
