Sen. Marcos Distributes Land Titles in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Senator Imee Marcos led the distribution of Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROM), Certificates of Land Ownership (CLOAs), and E-Titles under the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project on Thursday, Nov. 28, at the Capiz Gym.
The event was attended by Capiz Governor Fredenil Castro, Maayon Mayor and League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Capiz Chapter President Reymond Malapajo, and other DAR officials.
Assistant Regional Director Anthony P. Arostique and OIC-Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Alona D. Albances also witnessed the distribution.

A total of 5,036 agrarian reform beneficiaries received titles during the event, which drew a large crowd to the gymnasium.
According to Arostique, the distributed titles included 7,455 COCROM, 66 regular land titles, and 441 SPLIT E-Titles. These covered 5,584.89 hectares of land for the beneficiaries.
During the program, Governor Castro raised Senator Marcos’ hand, endorsing her reelection in next year’s elections.
