Seaman found dead; Pasig fugitive arrested in Capiz

Police reports from the Ivisan Municipal Police Station said the victim, identified only as alias Toto, 40, was discovered by his father around 2:55 p.m. lying lifeless inside his house.

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A seaman was found dead Sunday afternoon, July 27, in Sitio Advincula, Barangay Poblacion Sur, Ivisan, Capiz.
Police reports from the Ivisan Municipal Police Station said the victim, identified only as alias Toto, 40, was discovered by his father around 2:55 p.m. lying lifeless inside his house.
He was alone at the time.
According to the family, the victim had a history of severe asthma, which may have caused his death.
The family said they do not suspect foul play in the incident.
Toto was reportedly scheduled to return to work next month.
His body was brought to a funeral home in Ivisan.
Pasig City’s most wanted nabbed in Capiz
A man wanted for sexual abuse in Pasig City was arrested Sunday morning, July 27, in Barangay Capuyhan, Sigma, Capiz.
The 32-year-old suspect, a resident of Santa Lucia, Pasig City, was arrested based on a warrant issued by Judge Robert Victor Consunji Marcon of Branch 12, National Capital Judicial Region, Pasig City.
The court recommended PHP72,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
Police said the suspect went into hiding in Sigma after the warrant was issued.
He is currently in the custody of the Sigma Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and turnover to the court of origin.
