Jericho “Kiko” Francisco Jr. glided his way to the top after capturing the gold medal in the men’s extreme skateboarding event at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Dec. 13, 2025, at the SAT Extreme Sports Park in Bangkok, Thailand.
Aiming to repeat as the king of the biennial meet’s park category, Francisco never lost a step and tallied an impressive score of 90.68 points during his golden run.
The Carson, California, native was previously hailed as the champion in the same category when the SEA Games were hosted by the Philippines and skateboarding last received recognition as an official sport in the event.
Francisco was brilliant in his opening campaign, immediately leading all skaters with 85.48 points during the preliminary phase.
Saving the best for last, the 24-year-old stalwart displayed all the tricks up his sleeve, executing a perfect routine without a single fall or minor error.
Francisco began his title-bidding run with four consecutive end-to-end rail runs, capped off by a high-leaping ollie that wowed the crowd in attendance.
Midway through his routine, Francisco sent an early exclamation point after successfully landing a spinning ollie, followed by a rail stand in the leftmost corner of the park.
Francisco then put the icing on the cake by inserting a kickflip mid-air, earning praise from his co-competitors and teammates as he ended his majestic run at the SAT Extreme Sports Park.
Completing the list of podium finishers were Thailand’s Konwit Ketkao (82.43) and Brian Upapong (74.75), who took home the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
