Frank Arlanza, 43, a resident of Barangay Aguilar, San Lorenzo, suffered a lone gunshot wound on his back.
Staff Sergeant Edwin Alacar, San Lorenzo police investigator, said the incident happened around 11:44 p.m. Friday as the victim was riding home on his motorcycle.
Arlanza allegedly came from his girlfriend’s house and was just 50 meters away from their house when two motorcycle-riding suspects tailed and shot him four times.
Luck was on his side as he managed to flee and seek help despite his wound.
