A sea-based Filipino worker was arrested morning of Nov 29, 2021 in Oton, Iloilo.
Police identified the suspect as Joebel Bustamante, 48, a resident of Barangay Botong, Oton, Iloilo.
Members of Oton Police Station nabbed Bustamante for alleged Falsification of Public Documents under Article 172 of the Revised Penal Code docketed under Criminal Case No. 5456.
Municipal Trial Court (MTC) Judge Rodulfo Convocar of Oton, Iloilo issued the arrest warrant and recommended a P36,000 bail.
Bustamante is also the subject of arrest warrants for adultery in CC No. 5490 and concubinage in Article 333 of the Revised Penal Code docketed as CC No. 5489.
Judge Meliza Joan Perez Berano-Robite of MTC Oton issued the arrest warrants on Feb 1 and Feb 2, respectively.
Bail for the concubinage case was P24,000 and P36,000 for the adultery case.
