All eyes are on the Supreme Court as it prepares to release the much-anticipated results of the 2025 Bar Examinations on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier, chairperson of the 2025 Bar Examinations, said the names of successful examinees will be publicly announced following the completion of the three-day exams held on Sept. 7, 10, and 14, 2025.
A total of 11,425 aspiring lawyers took the country’s most grueling professional test, with 6,667 women and 4,758 men, underscoring the growing presence of women in the legal profession.
Beyond the numbers, the 2025 Bar Examinations highlighted resilience and diversity, with examinees including 41 pregnant candidates, 206 senior citizens, 139 individuals with medical conditions, and 241 persons with disabilities.
Examinees were assigned to 13 testing centers nationwide, including Central Philippine University in Iloilo City, which served as a testing hub for graduates of CPU, the University of San Agustin, West Visayas State University, and nearby provincial law schools.
The examinations covered eight core subjects: Political and Public International Law, Civil Law, Commercial and Taxation Laws, Labor Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, and Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises.
Justice Lazaro-Javier is set to deliver a message at the Supreme Court Courtyard along Padre Faura Street in Manila before the official release of the results.
LED walls will display the list of successful examinees until 6 p.m., with gates open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., subject to strict security checks and dress code requirements.
The announcement will be livestreamed on the Supreme Court’s official YouTube and Facebook pages, with results also to be posted on the court’s website and official social media platforms.
The Supreme Court urged the public and examinees to rely only on official channels and to remain vigilant against misinformation surrounding the release of the results.
