San Miguel town’s most wanted man nabbed

The topmost wanted man of San Miguel, Iloilo was arrested afternoon of Nov 18, 2022.
Ric Sanglitan, 36, was collared at his home at Barangay 8, San Roque North Street, San Miguel.
Members of the San Miguel Municipal Police Station and the 1st Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company apprehended the suspect by virtue of an arrest warrant for violation of Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code which penalizes Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to Section 5 (B) of Republic Act No. 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) docketed under Criminal Case No. 22-88163.
Judge Regina Centenera Galang-Guarin of the Regional Trial Court (RRC) Branch 30 in Iloilo City issued the arrest warrant on Nov. 15, 2022.
Bail for his temporary liberty was set at P180,000. Major Sullen Domingo, San Miguel police chief, said the suspect has been accused of sexually molesting a five-year-old girl.
The girl told her parents about what the suspect did which eventually led to the filing of the case. Sanglitan is now detained and will be turned over to the court concerned.
