BACOLOD City – Another robbery hold-up incident was reported in Murcia, Negros Occidental, this time victimizing a salesman and a driver at Purok Liero, Barangay Cansilayan last Tuesday, two weeks after the same incident in the town last month.
According to the police, the two victims were at a sari-sari store when three unidentified men on a motorcycle arrived.
Two of the three men were wearing facemasks while the other was wearing a helmet.
The one wearing a helmet then allegedly threatened the salesman at gunpoint and carted away the victim’s P1,000 cash, collection money amounting to P66,000, printer data max worth P9,000, a dash cam worth P23,860, and an ignition key.
On July 26, a driver and a sales agent were also robbed by three unidentified armed robbers on a motorcycle in Barangay Caliban.
Police have already persons of interest in the two incidents. In fact, they are looking at the same perpetrators behind both incidents.
Police are preparing the filing of charges against the perpetrators.
