BACOLOD City – A salesman and a driver lost P19,000 in cash sales to unidentified robbers at Km 114, Barangay Tabu, Ilog, Negros Occidental last Friday.
Based on police investigation, the victims aged 24 and 26, respectively, were unloading liquor products and collecting payment from a store when two men threatened them at gunpoint and declared a hold-up.
The robbers then allegedly carted away their cash sales amounting to P19,000.
Both perpetrators fled on board a motorcycle as a getaway vehicle.
Police are still investigating the incident for the possible identification of the perpetrators.
Some robbery incidents were also reported in Kabankalan City in the past months, but police are continuously probing if the same group were behind these incidents.
