BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz announced that Capitol employees will receive salary hikes in 2021.
Diaz said funds for the Salary Standardization Law 4 (SSL 4) had been included in the 2021 Annual Budget.
SSL 4 was not implemented in 2020 as the provincial government had exceeded the limitation for personal services or ceiling for the salaries and benefits of employees.
Based on records from the provincial government, the personal services reached a total of P601 million last year.
Diaz said that in 2021, all employees of the Capitol or the Provincial Government will enjoy that increase.
Diaz further said Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson directed him to make sure that SSL 4 is fully implemented next year.
The increase will cover workers with Salary Grades 15 to 20.
