ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The No. 1 “most wanted” person here was arrested early Wednesday morning at her house on Kilometer 2, Barangay Lawaan.
Jhovelene De Lemos Ungab, who also uses the name Abbie Gail De Lemos, 25, is facing illegal drug charges.
The Special Operations Unit-6 led by Lt. Eric B. Deocampo together with operatives of the Capiz Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit under lt. Col Francisco Paguia, and Roxas City Component Police Station under Lt. Col Aron D. Palomo nabbed Ungab for violation of Sections 7, 11, 12 and 15 under Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco-Deslate of the Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Roxas City issued the arrest warrant on September 5, 2022.
Ungab was also arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in 2018 but was freed in 2019 through plea bargaining.
She is presently under the custody of the Roxas Component City Police Station for proper disposition.
