The Roxas City Component Police Station recorded another robbery incident on Dec 15, 2022.
But unlike the highway heist that saw bandits taking off with around P1.5 million in cash, the suspects in the latest robbery stole a laptop computer worth P20,000.
The burglars victimized the Don Canuto Fuentes Integrated School in Barangay Sibaguan, Roxas City.
The incident was discovered around 6 a.m. Thursday and was reported to police authorities more than an hour later.
School principal Rowena Arostique, 45, of Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City, said that only the blue Haier laptop inside the principal’s office was missing.
The suspect/s detached the jalousie window and steel matting that served as window grills and passed through the hole.
Police have yet to identify the suspect/s behind the incident.
