The Roxas City government has released Friday P3,000 each to 400 recipients who were affected by its current quarantine status.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said the assistance came from the Aid to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Office of Senator Bong Go.
The distribution was held in four venues and attended by Vice Governor James Magbanua, Board Member Thea Faith Reyes, City Councilor Paul Baticados, and Board Members Sonny Besa and Weldie Apolinario.
“Ako nagapasalamat sa DSWD kag kay Senator Bong Go sa pag-aprubar sa aton hingyu nga mabuligan ang mga kasimanwa naton nga nagakinahanglan sa tion sang krisis nga nagaabot sa ila kabuhi,” Dadivas said.
Roxas City is under General Community Quarantine with heightened restrictions.
