Roxas City records 126 COVID-19 deaths

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Death toll from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) here is now at 126 after one more person succumbed to the disease on August 10, 2021.
The new fatality was a 68-year-old male from Legazpi Ilawod, Brgy. V here.
At present, the city has 2,907 confirmed cases (261 active cases, 2,520 recoveries, and 126 deaths).
Meanwhile, additional allocation of vaccines against COVID-19 arrived Wednesday at the Roxas City Airport.
The vaccines were part of the request by Governor Esteban Evan Nonoy Contreras.
Provincial Administrator Edwin Monares received 5,000 doses of Sinovac and 9,940 vials of Moderna vaccine.
This batch of vaccines were allocated for the A2 category or Senior Citizens.
