The Roxas City Government received the Commission on Audit’s unmodified opinion in 2022. This is the second time the local government receive the citation.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said he considers receiving the ‘highest rating’ a major achievement of his administration.
“Salamat sa tanan nga nagsuporta kag nagkooperar agud aton makuha ini nga pagkilala. Sa mga kaupdanan naton sa Roxas City Government, padayon kita sa maayo, transparent kag wala korapsyon nga pangginobyerno nga nakasentro sa pag-amlig sa interes sang pumoluyo,” he added.
According to COA, an unmodified opinion (also referred to as unqualified opinion) is issued when the auditor concludes that the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.
