Roxas City puts up facility for patients with mild and moderate COVID

The project is part of efforts to ease hospitals that are overwhelmed with COVID-19 and non-COVID cases.
Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said he and the Capiz Medical Society, Hospital Administrators, City Health Officer Dr. Lory Cahilog, Dr Faye Besana, Councilor Paul Baticados and Ronald Amigo of the CoVid-19 Command Center inspected the proposed site to determine the possibility of the project.
The Department of Health (DOH)-Capiz led by Dr. Mary Joy Castroverde and Provincial Health Office personnel, Dr. Cahilog, Mr. Ronald Amigo and sanday Dr. Rene Huinda and Dr. Pip Acepcion of Capiz Medical Society also led another inspection on Thursday.
Dadivas said they are now preparing the equipment and logistical requirements and personnel for the facility’s operations.
“Kita nagapasalamat man sa grupo sang mga doktor sa Roxas City nga nagpahayag nga sila magaboluntaryo sa pagbulig sa daku nga tikang sang City Government agud mapasaka ang kapasidad sang mga health facilities sa pagpakigbato sa CoVid-19 sa syudad,” he added.
