Roxas City police arrest two on ‘most wanted list’

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – In coordinated efforts on Tuesday, April 2, law enforcement apprehended two individuals from the province’s most wanted list.
A 19-year-old male suspect, sought for multiple robberies, was detained without resistance on Roxas Avenue, Barangay VIII, after a warrant was served by Judge Kristine B. Tiangco-Vinculado of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 16, on April 1, 2024. The court has set bail at P72,000 for his provisional release.
Currently, he is in the Roxas City Police Station awaiting further proceedings.
Concurrently, a 57-year-old man from Brgy. Agcococ Tapaz sought for attempted murder, was arrested in Brgy. Cuyad Alimodian, Iloilo.
The arrest was carried out by the 602nd Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, implementing a warrant dated October 26, 2018, issued by Judge Judith Orendain Tunogbanua of Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz.
His bail has been set at P200,000 for temporary release and he is now held at the Tapaz Municipal Police Station for subsequent legal actions.
