Roxas City logs highest number of COVID-19 cases in Capiz

ROXAS City, Capiz – This city logged the most number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Capiz.
Based on the data released by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on Thursday, this city has 291 active cases.
It was followed by the towns of Mambusao with 48, Dumarao (37), Tapaz (35), Sigma (32), President Roxas (25), Panitan (22), Panay (21), Pontevedra (21), Dumalag (20), Ivisan (17), Pilar (16), Jamindan (14), Maayon (12), Cuartero (11), Sapian (10), and Dao (5).
Capiz has 637 active confirmed cases. Most of them were mild and asymptomatic condition, while 7.59% are moderate to severe and critical conditions.
Meanwhile, 122,170 Capiceños have been vaccinated (one dose) or 22.43% of target eligible population of 544,670.
On the other hand, 81,865 or 15.03% were fully vaccinated (two doses) – 16,812 frontline healthcare workers, 31,136 senior citizens, 33,218 adults with comorbidities, 699 essential workers and uniformed personnel and one indigent resident.
At present, 422,500 or 77.57% have yet to be vaccinated.
