Roxas City has two new village chiefs

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – This city has two new punong barangays following the recent deaths of two village chiefs.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas on Thursday, May 4, administered the oath of Kagawad (council member) Ricky de Domingo as the new punong barangay of Balijuagan after Rey Afloro died due to a heart ailment.
De Domingo was accompanied by Kagawads Avelino Aninacion and Rogelio Abella during the simple oath-taking held at the Mayor’s Office.
Meanwhile, Kagawad Vicente Acapuyong took his oath of office as the new punong barangay of Tanque assuming the seat left vacant by Kapitan Hermie Dillo who succumbed to illness.
Acapuyong was accompanied by Kagawad Teresita Delos Reyes, Sangguniang Kabataan chairperson Christian Bitoon, other barangay workers and Dillo’s husband Ronnie.
The two new village chiefs will serve the unexpired term of the two deceased village executives.
