Roxas City has new top cop

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The Roxas City Police Station has a new head effective Monday, March 6.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Paguia, former chief of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), replaced Lieutenant Colonel Aaron Palomo.
Police Colonel Jerome Afuyog, Jr., provincial director of Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO), led the simple turnover of command ceremony at Camp Teodorico Apil in Brgy. Lanot here.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas personally witnessed the activity together with the other city officials and the city police advisory council.
Palomo will be temporarily assigned to Capiz PPO headquarters while waiting for his new assignment as police chief of Passi City, Iloilo.
Palomo had been the police chief of Roxas City for one year and 8 months.
