ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A street-level individual (SLI) arrested in a buy-bust operation on Saturday afternoon, June 7, in Barangay Culasi, Roxas City, was charged Monday, June 9, for illegal drug trade.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against alias “Toto,” 32, of Barangay Culasi, before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
The suspect was caught in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Roxas City Police Station.
A police poseur buyer purchased a sachet of suspected shabu worth PHP7,000 from the suspect.
Police also recovered six more sachets of suspected shabu weighing 13 grams, with an estimated standard drug price of PHP88,000.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station for proper disposition.
