The Roxas City government acquired several pieces of equipment that will be used for projects and disaster response and management.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said the equipment include two mixers, three 6-wheeler dump trucks, two 10-wheeler dump trucks, and a bulldozer.
Dadivas said the machineries will “be utilized in the speedy implementation of our government projects and also aid in disaster response and management.”
“Pinaagi sini mangin mas madasig pa ang implementasyon sang aton proyekto sa kabarangayan. Ini sarang ta man magamit sa pagresponde sa mga kalamidad, clearing operations kag iban pa nga hilikuton para sa mas epektibo naton nga pagserbisyo,” he said.
The equipment were blessed in a simple ceremony Thursday.
