Guided by the Rotary International’s Wheel of friendship, fellowship, and unselfish service to the community and the world, the Rotary Club of Iloilo West (RCIW) celebrated its 33rd Charter Anniversary with a turnover and induction ceremony for its officers and new members for Rotary Year 2025–2026.
Held at the grand ballroom of Sam’s Hotel in Iloilo City, the event was led by the club’s newly installed president, Paola Teresa Laraog, alongside fellow officers and members.
The evening welcomed new honorary members, including Iloilo City Vice Mayor Julie Grace “Love-Love” Baronda and Municipality of Oton Vice Mayor Jose Neil Olivares, who formally joined the RCIW during the ceremony.
Adding prestige to the celebration were special guests International Rotary Club District 3850 Governor Victor Federico “Pip” Acepcion and keynote speaker Dr. Liza Assumpta M. Jover, DMD.
In her inaugural address, President Laraog emphasized the club’s long-standing commitment to service.
“As our organization reaches 33 years, we join all Rotarians worldwide in pursuing our goal to serve more and more underprivileged individuals and communities,” Laraog said.
The event was filled with warmth, fellowship, and the spirit of service as new and longtime members came together to mark another year of impact.
