Rolando Dy will need just one more victory before earning a world title shot for BRAVE CF lightweight supremacy.
After receiving the 2020 BRAVE CF Fighter of the Year award, the Filipino MMA superstar sought out a title shot in the lightweight division.
In two months, Dy won back-to-back dominating matches against BRAVE lightweights Maciej Gierszewski and John Brewin.
However, BRAVE organizers thought Dy needed to leap through one last hurdle for a shot at the championship and that is against Kyrgyzstan’s Abdisalam Kubanychbek.
Kubanychbek is coming off astounding knockout victories against Joao Paulo Rodrigues and Vagif Askerov.
The Filipino MMA star and the Kyrgyz wrecking machine will be squaring off in a lightweight title eliminator at the 47th event of BRAVE this coming March 11.
Expect a non-stop action-packed slugfest between the two lightweight champion aspirants.
