Daryl Morey, the Houston Rockets general manager, has confirmed that Kenneth Faried and proven veteran Hilario Nene did not make the cut for the final roster.

No stranger to the Houston community, the Rockets drafted Jones last 2012 NBA Draft from the University of Kentucky and played four seasons after getting traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.
