ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Police launched manhunt operations against two persons who allegedly robbed two individuals Tuesday afternoon after they mistook the two vicitims for lending company collectors at Barangay Sublangon in Pontevedra, Capiz.
Aileen Apuang, 37, of Barangay Bato and Gerald Ape, 26, of Barangay Lawaan here reported to the Pontevedra municipal police station that two motorcycle riding suspects blocked their motorcycle.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at them and declared the heist.
The suspects took away their cellphone, bag with P350 cash, and other documents.
Apuang and Ape said that they were looking for a place to rent for their business.
They said that the suspects may have mistaken them for lending firm collectors who are usually robbed in the area.
The suspects, who wore black jackets and masks, fled towards Brgy. Bahit in Panitan town.
