Robber mobbed, nabbed

BACOLOD City – An alleged robber was injured after he was mobbed by some bystanders after he allegedly stole the service firearm of a security guard in an establishment at Barangay Singcang-Airport here early Thursday. Police identified the suspect as Raymark Hilado, 22, of Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

BACOLOD City – An alleged robber was injured after he was mobbed by some bystanders after he allegedly stole the service firearm of a security guard in an establishment at Barangay Singcang-Airport here early Thursday.
Police identified the suspect as Raymark Hilado, 22, of Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Investigation showed that the suspect allegedly took the 12-gauge shotgun with two live ammunition from a 50-year-old security guard past 2 a.m.
The victim and some bystanders in the area chased the suspect who reportedly attempted to shoot them but the gun jammed. He was later cornered and mauled.
Police recovered from Hilado the stolen firearm. He is now detained at Police Station 8.
