A motorcycle rider died while two others were injured in a road collision Tuesday afternoon in Sara, Iloilo.
Police identified the fatality as Igmedio Billoga, 22, a resident of Barangay Bacjawan Norte, Concepcion town.
Billoga succumbed to head injuries at Sara District Hospital.
The incident also injured Billoga’s backrider, 34-year-old Leo Morong, also of Bacjawan Norte village, and Renelyn Cantere, 24, of Poblacion, Concepcion, Iloilo.

Major Jose Nemias Pamplona, Sara police chief, said that Billoga and Morong were allegedly drunk when the incident happened.
Police investigation showed that Billoga and Morong were navigating Barangay Salcedo around 1:30 p.m. Monday when their Bajaj 100 motorcycle lost control and encroached the opposite lane.
This resulted in a collision with Cantere’s Honda XRM motorcycle.
All three victims were thrown off their motorcycles and suffered injuries on different parts of their bodies.
They were rushed to the hospital where Billoga was declared dead on arrival.
