Police identified the fatality as Judy Mar, a resident of Barangay Daga-ay, Tubungan.
His back rider, identified as 17-year-old Edrich, also of Barangay Daga-ay, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial police reports said Judy Mar was driving a Suzuki Smash motorcycle from Barangay Nahapay, Guimbal, when the crash occurred.
While navigating Barangay Teniente Benito, he attempted to overtake another vehicle driven by his 18-year-old relative, Loyd, also a resident of Barangay Daga-ay.

The three individuals fell onto the road as a result of the collision.
Judy Mar sustained severe head injuries.
He and Edrich were rushed to Rep. Pedro S. Trono Memorial Hospital in Guimbal, where Judy Mar was declared dead on arrival.
