Ricardo Ratliffe, a former import in the PBA who played for the Star Hotshots, has been all over Asia playing in different leagues.
Having the chance to play and witness different caliber players in the region, Ratliffe was able to mention one name and dubbed him as “The Future.”
During an IGTV session by FIBA, Ratliffe, who is now known as Ra Gun-Ah as a naturalized player of Korea, included Thirdy “King Eagle” Ravena in his All-Asia team.
“My boy Thirdy from the Philippines, because I know he’s the future. He’s the future,” said the former PBA import.
Ravena already has an impressive body of work fresh off college, making history in the UAAP as the only player to clinch three straight Finals MVP awards while already being a part of the Gilas Pilipinas pool as a college player.
The former Ateneo swingman recently revealed that he will be taking his talents to Japan and will play for the San-en NeoPhoenix.
Completing Ratliffe’s list are Yao Ming, Dar Tucker, Earnest Ross, Yang Donggeun, Choi Jun-Yong, and Lee Dae-Sung.
