Residential fire gobbles P1.5M worth of properties
BACOLOD City – Thirteen houses were razed by fire at San Juan Street, Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2 here yesterday, leaving an estimated P1.5 million worth of damage. BACOLOD City – Thirteen houses were razed by fire at San Juan Street, Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2 here yesterday, leaving an estimated P1.5 million worth of damage.
Of the 13 houses, 11 were destroyed, while two others were partially damaged, based on a report from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Bacolod.
The blaze erupted around 2:15 p.m., affecting a floor area of 1000 square meters. It was raised to second alarm.
A total of 13 families have been affected. No injuries were reported.
Fire out was declared at 2:34 p.m. Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of fire.
