One of the most wanted persons in Western Visayas was arrested on the morning of Nov. 1 in Pavia, Iloilo.
Alias Amay, 36, was apprehended at his residence in Purok 4, Barangay Purok 4, Pavia, Iloilo.
Members of the Pavia Municipal Police Station arrested the suspect by virtue of a warrant for violation of Article II, Section 5, Paragraph 1 of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Branch 36 of the 6th Regional Trial Court in Iloilo City issued the arrest warrant on Oct. 29, 2025.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Captain Ritz Field Presquito, Pavia police chief, said the suspect is ranked as the No. 8 most wanted person in the region.
The suspect is now in the custody of Pavia MPS for proper case disposition.
