Region’s No. 8 Most Wanted Arrested

A farmer facing multiple rape charges was arrested on the afternoon of October 19 in the City Proper district of Iloilo City.
Alias Ed, 54, a resident of Barangay Guihaman, Leganes, Iloilo, was apprehended at Barangay Tanza-Esperanza, City Proper district.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 7, along with the Regional Intelligence Unit 6, arrested the suspect under an arrest warrant for five counts of rape by carnal knowledge.
The charges are docketed under Criminal Case Numbers 24-92920, 24-92921, 24-92922, 24-92923, and 24-92924.
Judge Globert Justalero of Regional Trial Court Branch 32, Iloilo City, issued the warrant on Oct. 19, 2024.
No bail was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
The suspect is listed as the eighth most wanted person in Western Visayas.
He is currently in police custody and will be turned over to the court.
