BACOLOD City – The COVID ward on the 5th Floor of the West Tower Building of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) has reopened after all necessary repairs were completed.
The repairs were on the resuscitation and medication rooms of the ward.
Meanwhile, the World Bank and Asian Development Bank donated mechanical ventilators to CLMMRH through the Department of Health, as a project of the World Health Organization.
The Mindray units have 3-in-1 capability, the regional hospital said in its Facebook page.
They can serve either as a mechanical ventilator, high flow oxygen, and Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) from neonates to adult patients.
These will further increase the capacity of CLMMRH to cater more severe to critical COVID-19 patients, it further said.
