Region 6’s topmost wanted man nabbed in Antique

The most wanted person of Western Visayas was arrested evening of Feb 23, 2023 in Caluya, Antique.

Orlyn Lucena, 41, a welder of Semirara Mining Corporation, was nabbed at his home in Barangay Semirara, Caluya.

Members of Caluya Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 6, Regional Intelligence Unit-Antique, and Maritime Police Station-Antique, collared Lucena who was accused of nine counts of rape docketed as Criminal Case Nos. 23-CA-003- CR to 23-CA-011-CR.

Judge Josefina Fulo Muego of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Culasi, Antique issued the arrest warrant on Feb. 14, 2023.

No bail was set for his temporary liberty.

Lucena is also Culasi town and Antique’s most wanted person.

Major Rex Farren, Culasi police chief, said the suspect was accused of repeatedly raping a relative who was 14 years old at the time of the incident.

Lucena is now detained in Culasi.
