Brigadier General Jack Wanky, Western Visayas police chief, commended the combined efforts of the different police units and the community for providing vital information that led to these successful arrests.
“I encourage our personnel and unit commanders to continue pursuing the remaining wanted individuals in the region in close coordination with the community and other law enforcement agencies. Our goal is to ensure people feel safe in their communities and can sleep soundly at night,” he said.
Additionally, Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) records showed that the one-day campaign against wanted persons led to the arrest of 35 individuals.
Three of them are classified as most wanted persons, while the remaining 32 are other wanted persons.
