One of the most wanted men of the CALABARZON Region was arrested late afternoon of May 6, 2021 in Pandan, Antique.
John Bolneo, 24, who worked as a delivery personnel, was arrested at H&P Hotel in Barangay Duyong, Pandan, around 5:40 p.m. of Thursday.
The suspect, a resident of Sitio Tabay, Barangay Patria, Pandan, was listed as Region 4-A’s sixth most wanted person.
Members of the Regional Intelligence Division 6, Antique Provincial Intelligence Team under the Regional Intelligence Unit 6, and Pandan Police Station arrested the suspect by virtue of an arrest warrant for murder and carnapping in Criminal Case Numbers 4721 and 4722, respectively.
Judge Lerio C. Castigador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 15 in Naic, Cavite issued the arrest warrant on Nov. 18, 2016.
No bail bond is recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Lieutenant Danny Eguis, Pandan police chief, said the suspect had been staying in Pandan, his wife’s hometown, for several years already.
The suspect denied the charges against him saying his brother’s employee implicated him in the charges.
Bolneo is now detained at the lock-up cell of Pandan Police Station and will be turned to the concerned court.
