To usher the Yuletide season, the Rotary Club of Bacolod and Robinson’s Place Bacolod celebrates the annual “Wish Upon A Star” last December 18, 2021 at Robinsons Place Bacolod Fountain area in Bacolod City
This annual benefit activity is in partnership with the Rotary Club of Bacolod, Robinson’s Place Bacolod and other donor-partners wherein they bring 110 poor children from selected coastal communities to the Robinsons Place Bacolod and share the spirit of Christmas thru gift giving, entertainment and snacks/lunch.
The gift-giving was headed by Life Changing officers and members of the Rotary Club of Bacolod led by President Pauline Cuaycong assisted by Past District Governor Edgar Sy, Bacolod City Vice Mayor and Past President El Cid Familiaran, this year’s Committee Chairman headed by VP and President-Elect Franklin Andre Familiaran, Club Director Gay Marie Tiu, the Rotaract Club of Bacolod Colegio de San Agustin Chapter headed by Pres. Deanna Therese Cerna, Club Moderator Mr. Bong Lacanilao, Robinson Place Bacolod represented by Operations Manager Joseph Sian, Regional Operations Manager Vanessa Angodung, Mall Operations Manager Mary Jo San Marte, Regional Marketing Manager Shiela Malubay, and Marketing Manager Maxene Galapon.
The Rotary Club of Bacolod has been celebrating the annual “Wish upon a Star” for the past 23 years now.
