Pusher nabbed in marijuana sting
A 22-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation in Jaro district, Iloilo City.
Red Flores, 22, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. of May 7, 2019 after a buy-bust operation at Barangay Balabago.
Flores was with a 16-year-old girl when the bust happened.
Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Iloilo City team and the Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (ICPO-CDEU) collared Flores for possessing two large plastic sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing around 10 grams, a medium plastic sachet of suspected marijuana seeds, and the P3,500 marked money.
Until the operation, Flores was never included in the polices watch list of suspected drug peddlers.
As to Flores 16-year-old girl companion, PDEA and police operatives said the latter was rescued.
Flores will be charged for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
