PHINMA UI is proud to host the 4th West Visayas Business Forum with the theme, “Purpose-Driven Businesses in a Thriving Economy”. The forum will be on January 14, 2020, Tuesday, from 11:30am to 2:30pm, at the Sunset Terrace Hall, Hotel Del Rio.
Among the esteemed guest speakers are Sec. Ramon M. Lopez, Secretary of Department of Trade and Industry; and Mr. Roberto M. Laviňa, COO/Senior Executive Vice President of PHINMA Corporation who will discuss the Prosperity Plan for All: Plan 2022 and Business as a Noble Vocation, respectively.
The forum aims to provide a platform wherein various sectors and organizations can discuss, develop and work together on certain advocacies to help make lives better for Ilonggos and further propel Iloilo as the best place to do business.
The 1st West Visayas Business Forum (WVBF) spearheaded by PHINMA UI started last November 17, 2010, with the theme, “Business Environment under the PNoy Administration”.
President Aguino’s 2010 APEC speech inviting businesses to come, take a look and participate in what the Philippines is doing to improve the business environment and make the country a more reliable and profitable investment destination became the anchor of the aforementioned launch.
The Agri-Fishery Business Forum in March 2011 and Human Resources Business Forum then followed in June 2011 — both of which were supported by the prime movers of the Iloilo community from the business, government and academe sectors.
PHINMA UI is a member of the PHINMA Education Network, a chain of schools that provides affordable high quality education in the Philippines.
Driven by its mission of “Making Lives Better Through Education”, PHINMA UI produces competent and employable Filipino professionals who can help build the nation.
