SAN CARLOS CITY, Negros Occidental — The Philippine Statistics Authority-Negros Occidental hosted an orientation seminar for marriage solemnizing officers at the conference room of Villa Consuelo Algers in San Carlos City on April 27.
The activity was held in partnership with the Philippine Intersectoral Ministers Alliance Fellowship for Transformation Inc., or PIMAFT, under the leadership of Edward C. Cameña.
The seminar brought together PIMAFT ministers to strengthen their knowledge of the legal and procedural requirements for solemnizing marriages.
Key topics included Administrative Order No. 1, Series of 2021, and essential marriage laws.
Registration Officer I Annie M. Libo-on discussed the laws and guidelines governing solemnizing officers in the Philippines.
Administrative Aide VI Eva Ann Delight P. Pico also discussed the requirements and procedures for processing applications for the Certificate of Registration of Authority to Solemnize Marriage, or CRASM.
The seminar aimed to equip ministers with proper legal knowledge and documentation processes, reinforcing their role as authorized solemnizing officers.
It also sought to promote the integrity of civil registration in the country.
PIMAFT expressed gratitude to PSA Negros Occidental for its continued support and commitment to educating and guiding solemnizing officers toward lawful and responsible service.
