PSA, San Enrique prep CBMS data turnover

SAN ENRIQUE, Negros Occidental — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Negros Occidental and the municipality of San Enrique held a coordination meeting to prepare for the turnover of 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data.
The meeting was held ahead of the CBMS turnover activity, which will provide the local government unit access to updated and disaggregated data for planning, budgeting, and targeted service delivery.
San Enrique Mayor Jilson D. Tubillara welcomed PSA personnel and expressed his appreciation to the agency for facilitating the meeting.
PSA Negros Island Region Officer-in-Charge Regional Director John F. Campomanes discussed the key requirements for the 2024 CBMS turnover activity with Tubillara and Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Elenita Amen.
Campomanes said the CBMS will give the local government access to comprehensive and disaggregated data that can guide policy formulation, resource allocation, priority-sector identification, and targeted interventions responsive to the needs of residents.
The CBMS, established under Republic Act 11315, is a technology-based system for collecting, processing, and validating local-level data used for planning, program implementation, and impact monitoring.
The PSA said the meeting ended positively, with Tubillara expressing interest in the upcoming turnover activity and affirming his support for its implementation.
